Rode it as a commuter for ten miles a day for about a year, till it got stolen out of my garage. Bastards!<br /><br />Anyway, I thought it was great for what I used it for (fairly speedy backpack commuting) and would probably make a great light tourer as well. It's actually a lot faster than it looks. Also, your earlier comment about the low bottom bracket making you feel like you're -in- the bike is spot on. <br /><br />Downsides for me -- brooks saddle is great but a theft magnet, and the fenders are rattly nightmares.
